Mesh-ing with the Tin Man

Hello there. I thought it was time to give the fantastic Visible Image OZ Tin Man stamp a little outing. He has to be one of my favourite characters to colour and as he is 'metallic looking' something colourful behind him provides a nice contrast.Well, that's what I think, anyway.

I used 3 of my favourite colours of distress ink and added colour onto some plain white card.

Then I taped the Stop Meshing Around stencil over the top, added pearl dimension paste. removed the stencil and set the piece aside to dry overnight.

The next day I mounted the background onto some white card mats and onto an 8" square card blank.

The tin man was coloured with promarkers.

I actually made this card before I had received the matching Tin Man dies so I had to fussy cut him out. I must say that the dies make it SO much easier and I am really glad that I have them now!

He is attached to the card with thin 3d foam.

I also heat embossed the sentiment and 4 of the hearts that match the Stop Meshing Around stencil and then cut those out and attached them to the card with a thicker 3d foam. I found some clear heart gems and added one to each heart and one on the sentiment too.
